My Background

I came to the U.S. at age seven and grew up exploring two worlds: East and West, high-context and low-context communication, collectivistic and individualistic values, and belonging and otherness. My bicultural experience spans being a minority in a multicultural society and a majority in a homogeneous environment. I continue to learn what it means to carry Eastern values in Western contexts, and Western values in Eastern contexts, vice versa.

I understand these challenges because I’ve lived them. I help clients integrate their ambivalence while exploring their cultural identity, family systems, and the pressure to succeed with compassion and depth. My goal is to help you feel whole, so you don’t have to choose between belonging and authenticity.

My approach is individualized and research-informed, remaining attuned to your shifting needs and the pace that feels right for you.

Within each session, I prioritize building an authentic relationship held in trust and safety, helping you feel comfortable in your own skin as you unlock your full potential.
