Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

A lot of psychotherapy is overly cerebral. We reify the problematic pattern loops that bring us to seek support in the first place. This is where the tool of Ketamine-assisted practice comes in — a meaningful interruption of these thought patterns to help us function with assurance.

What is ketamine?

Ketamine Facts

1

FDA-approved treatment

Schedule III : non-narcotic substance

2

World Health Organization's

"List of Essential Medicines"

since 1985

3

Unlike unregulated "street" sources, clinical-grade ketamine is manufactured under strict FDA-approved protocols to ensure it is free from contaminants like fentanyl or toxic fillers

4

Non-invasive administration:

utilizes the sublingual "swish-and-spit" method for safe and effective absorption

5

Ketamine acts as a psychoplastogen, stimulating synaptic regrowth

6

Medical-grade materials guarantee that the dose ordered is exactly the dose delivered, which is critical for maintaining the "therapeutic window" without accidentally reaching anesthetic (unconscious) levels

Lowers:

  • Anhedonia

  • Social avoidance

  • Rejection Sensitivity

  • Pessimistic thinking

  • Specific cognitive deficits

Increases:

  • Perception Memory

Ketamine helps to take the default mode offline,
and creates a bit of dissociation that allows for more association.
